Title: Spirit

"Spirit" reflects the nature of a hummingbird to hover motionless yet be constantly surrounded in vibrant motion.

This photo was taken adjacent to a feeder on my deck, where typically more than a dozen Anna's Hummingbirds congregate at dusk from the surrounding preserve. Having observed their nature and the point in space where they typically hover before or after feeding, I aimed, pre-focused at that point, and waited.
